I acknowledge and agree that my participation in the City of Victoria’s Tejas Fest (the "Event") is voluntary. I understand that participating as a volunteer involves potential risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, and other hazards. By signing this waiver, I assume all risks of participating in the Event.
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the City of Victoria, its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, sponsors, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during my voluntary participation in the Event. This release applies whether the cause of the incident was the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
Medical Treatment
In the event of an injury or illness, I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary by the Event organizers. I release the Released Parties from any claims arising out of or related to such medical treatment.
Photo Release
I grant the City of Victoria the right to use, reproduce, and distribute photographs, videos, and other media taken of me during the Event for promotional or educational purposes without compensation. I waive any rights of privacy or publicity associated with these media.
Acknowledgment
I have read this Liability Waiver and Photo Release in its entirety. I understand its terms and acknowledge that I am signing it freely and voluntarily, intending to be legally bound by its terms.
